Strengthening Partnerships: BYLI Conducts Coordination Meeting with LGU Dumarao

In preparation for the 2nd Project Pagkakilala Caravan, BYLI conducted a Coordination Meeting today, 27 March 2026, with the different Department Heads of the Local Government Unit of Dumarao at the Operations Center, Second Floor, Dumarao Municipal Hall.

The 2nd Project Pagkakilala Caravan, an access to justice and education project, will be held at Dumarao Civic Center, Dumarao, Capiz on 08 April 2026, Wednesday, in partnership with the Municipal Government of Dumarao through the Office of Municipal Mayor, Hon. Mateo C. Hachuela.
The registration will start at 8:00 o’clock in the morning.

Project Pagkakilala is an initiative of BYLI launched in April 2025 in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) – Division of Capiz, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Capiz, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) – Capiz Chapter, Association of Civil Registrars of Capiz (ACRC), Capiz Provincial Federated Parent-Teachers’ Association and ChildInitiative. It aims to provide free legal assistance and services through legal documentation in the filing of registration and correction of the birth certificates of the learners in the Province of Capiz in the next two (2) years.

One of the components of the project is the PROJECT PAGKAKILALA CARAVAN which specifically aims to conduct Legal Aid Activity, Advocacy Seminar and Registration Caravan in the Province of Capiz.
On 08 April 2026, Wednesday at Dumarao Civic Center, Capiz, the Caravan will offer the following services:

Free Legal Consultation and Counseling – from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 N.N. only.

📍Free Legal Document Preparation, Subscription and Notarization (except those legal documents with monetary consideration such as Deed of Sale) – from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 N.N. only.
📍Free Legal Advocacy Seminar – from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 N.N. only.
📍Application and Processing of National Identification (NID) – from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. only.
📍Issuance of Security Papers (birth and death certificates, marriage contract, CENOMAR, etc.) – from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. only.
